Meet Eveldt Vioolbouw at the Festival Oude Muziek Markt 2026

From Friday 4 to Sunday 6 September 2026, you’ll find Eveldt Vioolbouw at the Festival Oude Muziek Markt, the annual heart of the Utrecht Early Music Festival at TivoliVredenburg. Entry to the market is free.

At our stand you can do more than just look: pick up the instruments and play them. Elise will be there in person all three days, happy to tell you about the building process, the choice of wood and the sound of each instrument.

What we’re bringing:

• The Stainer baroque viola 17.5″, our newest viola after the Stainer model
• The German Baroque Violin – Grafschaft Glatz/Wölfelsdorf model
• The Eveldt Baroque Violin “The White One” (original model)
• A première: a brand-new, not yet revealed violin built from koa, a remarkable Hawaiian tonewood rarely seen in violin making. The market is the first place to see it, and hear it.
