Built with inspiration from 17th-century Tyrolean violin making — think Stainer, Albani, and Klotz. The tailpiece and bridge are based on the painting A Merry Violinist by Gerard van Honthorst. Finished with an amber oil varnish. String length: 325 mm. Tuning pegs are hand-turned from boxwood.
